| Pastor Andy was born and raised in a middle class working family in Pittsburgh, PA. After graduating from Brentwood High School he went on to trade school to learn welding and wound up with a 13 ½ year career working as a Correctional Officer at the Allegheny County Prison (go figure). It was during that time that Andy started attending the Pittsburgh First PM Church and gave his life to Jesus. Soon after, he began serving the Lord in Youth and Prison Ministry and after serving 3 years, received God’s call into full time ministry. After a 4-year struggle with God, he finally left his career and entered full time Christian Service. After serving 8yrs as Pastor of New Hope Christian Fellowship in Houtzdale, PA, Andy again heard from the Lord and moved to the Parsons Church in June of 2007. Andy earned his Associate in Theological Studies Degree from Trinity College of the Bible and is a graduate of the Primitive Methodist School of Theology. He was ordained in May of 2003. In addition to serving as the Pastor of the Parsons Church Andy serves the denomination as a member of the Preachers’ Pension Fund Board and Director of the National Mission Board. Andy is married to Michaelene and they have three wonderful children, Chris 22, who is currently serving in the US Army and as of July, 2009 is stationed in Fort Jackson, SC, Caleb 8, and Abby 4. All who are diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fans! In his spare time Andy enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid golfer. |
